Dr. Diane Romsaitong is a comprehensive ophthalmologist board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She grew up in Southern California and completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA, before moving east to study medicine at New York Medical College, where she met her husband, who convinced her to pursue ophthalmology with him. She completed her internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by residency training at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Romsaitong continues to be passionate about personalized patient care and developing significant, long-term relationships with patients. She emphasizes this to the future generation of ophthalmologists in her role as a Clinical Director for the New York Medical College-Jamaica Hospital Ophthalmology Residency Program. She has been active teaching residents since 2000 and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Romsaitong relishes her role as wife, mother, and friend. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, yoga, reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
